Tamanu Beach Hotel

The traditional styled bungalows are located in two courtyard settings, each with a central swimming pool and staggered so that each bungalow has a view towards the ocean from its private veranda. All bungalows have wooden floors (Tamanu is the native mahogany) and Cook Island style thatched roofs and feature a kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave and small gas cooker. Bungalows offer both air-conditioning and ceiling fans with IDD phones and are serviced daily.

The studio bungalows are smaller in size with an open plan living area; whist 1-bedroom configurations have a separate bedroom with super King size bed and larger lounge area with TV.

The beach infront of Tamanu Beach offers a wide sandy area backed by palm trees and extends for several kilometres along the west coast making it a great spot for walking. The lagoon is good for both swimming and snorkelling and the islands' best snorkelling reefs are located a ten minute walk along the beach.

Tamanu has a fine dining restaurant, beach bar for enjoying cocktails, two swimming pools, guest laundry and wireless broadband internet access. Kayaks and snorkelling gear provided plus all island tours can be arranged from the front reception. Island nights with traditional Cook Islands dancing are held at least once a week.
