Sokala Villas

All villas have tropical exteriors and pine-walled interiors. Three villas are two storey houses with the bedroom on mezzanine floor and an additional verandah for good views. All villas have one bedroom each that feature a four-poster king size bed, a separate lounge with small kitchenette and a spacious timber deck with lagoon views. Four villas have private swimming pools.

The northern end of Muri Beach faces a beautiful turquoise lagoon which at low tide is shallow enough to walk across to the uninhabited islets on the reef's edge. At high tide, the lagoon is good for swimming but there is no reef here and snorkelling is better further towards the southern end of Muri. The high tide water comes right up to the edge of the property and offers no beach area for sunbathing - however, it's a mere minute walk around the corner to the broader beach area of Muri.

Kayaks and snorkelling gear are provided for guest use. Some villas have private swimming pools, but there is no communal swimming pool for tho9se that don't. On site managers are present throughout the day to assist guests. Although there is no restaurant on the property, the award winning Flame Tree Restaurant is right next door and there are several other good restaurants within walking distance.
