Samade on the Beach

The beach is located across a sandy lane from the bungalows and stretches along Ootu Point infront of a narrow but deep water sandy bottom lagoon good for swimming (boats sometimes use the channel). Beyond the channel is a shallow lagoon which at low tide connects to Akitua Island exposing several sand bars for exploring. This lagoon isn't good for snorkelling but you can snorkel around the point in deeper water or on day cruises which stop at some great snorkelling reefs.

On site moped hire, restaurant and bar with weekly traditional dance, walking distance to day cruise departure point, complimentary kayaks to explore the lagoon.
