Tiana's Beach Villas is situated in a quiet stretch of sand on the south side of Muri Beach. Five appealing units set peacefully away from the road and literally right on a wonderful sweep of gorgeous beach.  Tianas has an adult only policy, (18+), assuring peace and tranquility at all times.  With the basics provided, including laundry facilities (for a fee) and kayaks, this really is a fantastic choice for the independent, budget traveller.


Tiana’s offers five individual, attractive and spacious villas with sloped, beamed ceilings and light, wood-panelled walls.  All are dual-access; the front door leading through to a large, cool, private decked terrace with table and chairs and a fabulous lagoon view.  Every self-contained unit is bright and airy with tiled floors throughout and a fully-equipped kitchen complete with fridge/freezer, full gas oven, microwave and electric kettle.  All units are basically furnished but provide towels, dining area and CD/clock-radio.

The two beach bungalows are stand alone and just steps back from the beach, but with iron wood trees infront giving privacy. The beach bungalows are quite spacious and have a separate bedroom with double bed and an open-plan L-shaped kitchen/lounge area with an extra sofa-bed and dining table.  These villas sleep a maximum of four people. The three studio units are also right on the beach but are adjoining. They have an open-plan sleeping / dining / kitchen area, containing double bed and dining table and chairs. There is no phone in the studio units and they sleep a maximum of two people.

Tiana’s Villas have a stunning outlook over a stretch of soft, pale sand and the south end of Muri Lagoon and opposite motus.  The beach is an idyllic expanse of tree-lined white sand, with a sparkling, turquoise rock-strewn lagoon; great for a cooling dip and with good snorkeling.  Five minutes walk along the sand is Muri Beach, with safe, sandy-bed, all-tide swimming.  Slightly further away in the opposite direction is fantastic snorkeling at the famous “Fruits of Rarotonga” reef.  Kayaks are available for complimentary use, to explore the surrounding lagoon and reef.


There's good swimming off the beachfront in Muri Lagoon and good snorkelling a hundred metres or so off the beach around Taakoka Island - there are kayaks for guest use. The bungalows are walking distance to local shops, restaurants.
