Sunhaven Beach Bungalows is the perfect hideaway and is located on the western side of Rarotonga nestled amongst mature tropical palms at the waters edge. A small, private property that provides a quiet and secluded atmosphere. The no children policy ensures peace and quiet and there's a fresh water pool. Complimentary use of kayaks and snorkel.

The bungalows are attractive, spotlessly clean and meticulously cared-for. They occupy a delightful west-coast location fronting a beautiful white-sand beach, shaded by sloping palm trees slung with hammocks. With just nine bungalows and no children permitted, absolute peace and tranquillity are assured. Guests are treated to stunning sunset displays from their private verandah or the beachfront pool. In their own slice of paradise these bungalows continue to delight their returning guests year after year.
All units are self-contained with fully-equipped modern kitchen facilities, including fridge-freezer, microwave, 2-ring gas cook-top, filtered water and electric kettle and toaster. A welcome fresh fruit breakfast basket is provided on arrival. The rooms are bright and cool with simple décor of white-washed wood panelling and ceramic tiled floors throughout, with quality cane furniture. All units (apart from the standard studio) come complete with ceiling and pedestal fans, TV, DVD/CD player, IDD telephone, dining table and chairs and a covered private deck area. The Beachfront Standard Studio is the most basic of the categories, without TV, fan, telephone or DVD/CD player. Rooms are serviced daily except Sundays, with fresh tropical flowers put in the rooms, and complimentary tea and coffee supplied.
The nine units are categorized as Bungalows (stand alone building), and Suites and Studios (adjoining rooms). All but one of the units faces the beach with a one-bedroom Garden Bungalow set slightly further back facing the immaculately-kept gardens. Three Beachfront Bungalows and two Beachfront Suites have high ceilings and a separate bedroom, sleeping a maximum of 4 people. The remaining three Beachfront Studios are open-plan in their layout and can sleep a maximum of 2 people. Four of the units - the Beachfront Suites and Deluxe Studio feature air-conditioning which are available at an extra cost, payable on arrival.
Swimming in the azure lagoon is safe at all-tides, and the sea-bed is dotted with coral and suitable for snorkelling – with complimentary snorkel gear, reef shoes and kayaks provided. Other on-site facilities include the freshwater beachfront pool with floating sun-loungers, hammocks and sun beds, BBQ area, library, tour desk, café and licensed grocery store, and laundry service. There's an on site cafe and small grocery store around the corner.
