Rau's Guesthouse is located on the south coast of Rarotonga, on the mountain side of the main coastal road - it's a 30 second stroll across the road to a seclude white sandy beach which you can walk along for miles. Rau's Guesthouse is very close to Palm Grove restaurant and a supermarket and makes the ideal base for backpackers and budget travellers who want a quiet down-to-earth place experience away from the rowdy backpacker hostels.

There are five private rooms within the house, all sharing communal facilities, one bathroom for the girls and one for the boys (both have hot water showers). The spacious lounge has TV and Internet Access, and there's a large fully equipped kitchen for guest cooking (fruits from the family's garden on supplied when in season). There's a washing machine in the garage and a wooden deck for relaxing.
