The 10 individual, traditionally thatched Overbeach Bungalows or “A’res” come with wonderful authentic Mangaian “Sennit” weaving on the beams. All come complete with the latest modern facilities for ultimate comfort; air-conditioning, home entertainment centre, safe, iron and board and tea and coffee facilities. Hardwood floors, quality woven furniture and soft furnishings provide contemporary elegance. Extra luxuries complete the plush and opulent feel; his and hers wardrobe, private deck with sun beds and gazebo with day-bed, large indoor shower and his and hers vanities in the spacious bathroom, plus private rear courtyard with outdoor spa bath and rock-walled shower. Guests in the beachfront A’res enjoy expansive views of the alluring azure lagoon and pale sandy beach from their private deck and gazebo, and even from the comfort of their king-size beds.
There are also 4 smaller duplex Garden Units or “Pi’ a tiares” that provide supreme comfort, with king-size beds, private courtyards with outdoor shower and Jacuzzi, and personal decks with picturesque views of the tropical gardens. For ultimate convenience these also come with full kitchen facilities including fridge, 2-ring gas cook-top, microwave, toaster, and tea and coffee facilities.
Amenities at the Little Polynesian compliment the sophisticated standard of the hotel. A tropical breakfast is included in the price of the room, which can be served in you’re A’re or at the café. The tempting beachfront Infinity Pool enjoys stunning vistas of the lagoon, and is surrounded by decking with comfortable contemporary woven sun loungers.
