A small resort on Rarotonga with great facilities and exceptionally friendly staff.. The bright, clean, colourful rooms are sited close to either the pool complete with swim-up bar, or the long sun terrace overlooking the coral beach below. (From which migrating humpback whales can be sited August to October.) Club Raro makes a convenient and affordable base for exploring Rarotonga, is close to Avarua Town and its restaurant and just 10-minutes by road to popular Muri Beach.

Accommodation comes in a choice of 4 room types; catering for both couples and families. The Studio Units and Lagoon Front Rooms sleep a maximum of 2 adults, and the Poolside and Garden Rooms all have 1 double plus 1 single bed, with room for a second single bed. Some Poolside Rooms are also available with interconnecting doors for groups or larger families. All rooms come with private bathroom with shower, air-con and ceiling fan, IDD telephone, satellite TV, radio alarm clocks, fridge, water jug, kettle and complimentary tea and coffee. All rooms are serviced daily and have their own private terrace; apart from the Studio Units which are serviced every 2 days and share a communal garden area. The Studios are self-contained; with extra cooking facilities of electric 2-ring cook top, microwave, toaster, pots, pans and plates etc.
In all room categories a daily tropical buffet breakfast is included in the price, served in the Palms Restaurant and Bar, which also offers a la carte dining for lunch and dinner, and daily happy hour. There is also a second restaurant on-site; the Oceanfront Bar, where you can enjoy a meal and cocktail overlooking the beach. Open for lunch and dinner between 11am and 9pm, and with a daily happy hour 5-7pm. The very reasonably-priced menu offers evening dishes of steak, chicken and fish for under NZ$30, and the all-day menu offers lunch dishes and kids menu of fish, sandwiches, pasta and burgers for an average price of NZ$14. Thursday nights are themed “Pirates Night” and there is also a poolside BBQ every Sunday.
Club Raro Resort offers fantastic facilities so you can do as much or as little as you please, and the kids will never be bored. There is direct access to the coral beach from the appealing sun terrace, which is a great place to relax, soak up the sun and enjoy the sound of the sea below. Snorkeling gear and reef shoes are available for complimentary use. There is a tempting pool with swim-up bar, where you can take advantage of the free scuba diving lesson. Scooters and bicycles can be hired on-site, and there is also a pool table, table tennis, tennis court and computer games. Other hotel amenities include Tour Desk and activities (including snorkel tours and pub crawl for a fee,) , currency exchange, laundry facilities, infant cots provided for free, Babysitting service (NZ$7 per hour) car park, postal service, and 24-hour reception and security.
